The annual regatta at Picnic Island is one of the highights of the summer for everyone on the lake. But it takes a lot of work! We are so thankful for all our neighbors who come out to volunteer on that day to: cook hot dogs, run events on the beach, coordinate the docks, etc. Would you be willing to help coordinate these amazing volunteers? It doesn’t take a lot of effort beyond some emails / phone calls, and is a great way to get to know the most active members of our community. Perfect for a new resident who’s only been on the lake for a couple of years, or maybe an founder who has some free time on their hands.
Please let Mark Straub know if you cand help. And even if not, please at least volunteer to help in some way at the Regatta.
