Community Plan Survey 2011

The Gibson Lake Cottage Association Lake Plan Committee has completed their "Lake Plan" questionnaire and it is now being issued. Please find this attached. As the instructions indicate, there is a long form and a short form. The committee would like to get your completed form returned to the association by May 18th. They look forward to receiving input from as many community members as possible. The community includes anyone who owns or leases property at Gibson Lake and the Gibson River, whether in the Township of Georgian Bay or on the Wahta Mohawk land, and it includes their family members. The finalized document will have the dual uses of helping define policy for land use development in the non-native area and can act as a resource and reference document for the development of land use policy in the Native area. The key idea is to develop policy ideas that best reflect the wishes of the local community, so it is important that as many people as possible fill out the questionnaire and send it in.
